Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It? My Personal Experience.

In this article – “Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?” I’ll share my personal experience as a member of Wealthy Affiliate to help you make your own choice and decide whether it is worth it or not.

I believe, as Robert Allen does, that we all have free choices in life. With each different choice we make, we are taken down a different path towards our future. There are many choices and many pathways.

And, I’ve traveled a few different ones in my time.

Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It? I do believe that it is. When you decide to become a member of Wealthy Affiliate, a whole new world will open up for you. The training in online marketing is second to none. The internet marketing tools available to you are great. It is a one-stop-shop for everything you will ever need to learn about and activate a business in the online marketing space. The choice is yours.

So, Who Am I And Why Should You Take My Advice.

I’m Jenni Elliott and I’m English by birth, Australian by choice, now also a Permanent Resident of the USA.

What brought me here?

I met and married Rick Stannard in Sydney, Australia. Rick hails from Michigan and was working in Australia when we met. Lucky me!

And we have five grandchildren – two in Ohio and three in Indiana.

I’ve had an interesting life.

My Dad was in the Royal Air Force, so I moved around a lot in my childhood. As a matter of fact, I was educated at about 10 different schools. I never went to university (except for the (University of Life) and I discovered along life’s way that I learn experientially, not from books.

After a long secretarial working career, I moved on to public relations and marketing and eventually to a 20-year career as a fundraising and marketing professional. During this latter time, I helped non-profit organizations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, raise around $80,000,000.

Rick and I were both retired from full-time work when we moved from Australia to Florida. However, I’m not one for just reading books and playing golf. I wanted something more to fill my days and supplement our income.

Working online sounded like a good option so I started to investigate what was available. I happened across Rory Ricord’s RRR247 Program and joined. You can read my RRR247 Review right here.

I learned quite a lot about working online BUT the program was focused more on MLM opportunities than affiliate marketing.

I had always avoided getting involved with MLMs when friends had approached me in the past. Given that I was already a paid-up member of RRR247, though, I decided to stick with it for a while. However, after 2.5 years of struggling to make any money at all, I decided to exit the program.

Avoid The Scams!

The scams were alive and well on the internet, and I got sucked into a couple of them. One of which was 5 Minute Profit Pages, reviewed here.

Exit strategy once more and my online searching continued. I came across something called Entre Institute, which looked reasonable. So I checked out some of the Reviews and came across one from Benjamin Ward who was a member of Wealthy Affiliate.

Ben gave Entre Institute a reasonably good wrap up, but suggested a better way of working online was through Wealthy Affiliate.

After following Ben’s link, I checked out Wealthy Affiliate and I took the bait. I signed up for my Starter Membership (7-day Free Trial) of Wealthy Affiliate.

Within the first seven days, I was blown away by the training, the community and the online tools.

So, I immediately upgraded to Premium Membership at $49 per month. At the end of my first year, there was a Black Friday discounted annual membership for $299. This is about half price, so I took it

I am now 3 years in and own a niche website focused on women’s golf, a “make money online” website and I also manage a non-profit website.

Never Stop Learning.

The learning curve has been as sharp as any of them throughout my life, and I am still learning to be an accomplished affiliate marketer.

I do believe that one should try to learn something new each day. I don’t always succeed but I keep trying.

Certainly, with Wealthy Affiliate, there is just so much to learn. There are 72 lessons in two training courses. In addition to this, you will find literally hundreds of training tutorials by experienced members under the Classes tab.

You will probably find a tutorial on any aspect of online marketing in which you are interested. This is definitely a way of learning something new every day.

What Is Wealthy Affiliate?
