What Is Affiliate Marketing And How Does It Work?
Simply explained, affiliate marketing is the process of promoting the products of other companies or people.
You receive a personally identifiable, trackable link from the merchant.
When a customer purchases a product using your link, the merchant pays you a commission.

Well, I’m actually supposed to be retired, but I can’t just sit around doing nothing.
So, I decided to find a way to work online so that I could work-from-home.
I was a marketing and fundraising professional for the last 20 years of my working life.
During that time I assisted many non-profit organizations to achieve their fundraising goals – $80 million worth, in fact!

Before I joined Wealthy Affiliate I had been scammed a couple of times by other “so-called” online money-making concerns.
Then I joined RRR247, which I expected would teach me about affiliate marketing.
It turned out to be more involved with MLM companies than with affiliate marketing.
The top three “anchor” offers were MLMs and you were expected to join.
I stayed for two and a half years trying to make it work, but lost more money than I made!
Then, I went searching again and, thankfully, found Wealthy Affiliate.
I Now Work-From-Home – How Did I Get Started?
The most fantastic thing about WA was that I could get going with a FREE Starter Membership.
This was highly attractive, given the amount of money I had lost previously.

I have to tell you, though, that there is actually no such thing as a get-rich-quick scheme!
However, you can generate passive income by setting up an affiliate marketing business and doing the necessary work.
